A free-flowing mix of ambient street sounds and street musicians from Solo, Yogyakarta, and Borobodur, Java, recorded in may 2008. Includes the sounds of walking street musicians playing guitar, singing, homemade Gamelan, Azan (call to prayer), markets, bus musicians, pigeons with whistle-tails, train station Krontjong, Slendro & Angklung played at markets, insects, motorcycles, a bit of radio; the wonderful integration of outdoor sounds and music occurring in everyday life in these cities, in 2008.
