A free-flowing mix of ambient street sounds and street musicians from Solo, Yogyakarta, and Borobodur, Java, recorded in may 2008. Includes the sounds of walking street musicians playing guitar, singing, homemade Gamelan, Azan (call to prayer), markets, bus musicians, pigeons with whistle-tails, train station Krontjong, Slendro & Angklung played at markets, insects, motorcycles, a bit of radio; the wonderful integration of outdoor sounds and music occurring in everyday life in these cities, in 2008. Cover photograph by Linda Peschong, of a topeng monyet troupe in the gangs (alleyways) of central Solo in 2008.

All recordings presented as they sounded, without over-dubbing.

Digital re-issue of a CD-R released in 2009 (limited edition of 50).
