about

After almost 10 years, I'm happy to announce this release of recordings.

They describe, as best as I could capture, an organic masterpiece of quiet sound events, in Angkor Archeological Park, Cambodia.

Once the largest pre-industrial city in the world - now, over 1000 years later, dissipated into forest and ruins.

The movements of nature's symphony in grand spaces, sometimes including beautiful filigree of Buddhist and other human expression; the sounds of birds, insects, leaves, far-away voices, and the occasional tuk-tuk.

At that time I had a sense of success in capturing the discrete sounds of earth as felt in larger cycles in some of the recordings while considering this imagination: we are in the distant future.
